Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　位于韩国某山区的智翼村，是一座号称零犯罪村的旅游胜地。每到假期或周末，全国各地的游客云集于此，享受难得的快乐生活。为了吸引更多的游客，智翼村相继开发了高尔夫球场合周末农场，为此砍伐了大量的原始丛林。野生动物的生存环境遭到破坏，加上偷猎者的侵扰，野猪数量急剧减少。为了生存，野猪开始挖掘人类的坟墓，啃噬尸体，由此对人肉产生了浓厚的兴趣。　　某天，村中一名猎人孙女的尸体被人发现，她的尸体破碎不堪，只留下头颅。经法医鉴定和老猎人的观察，这起惨案系一头是人野猪所为。在此之后，武装精良的猎人们来到智翼村，人兽的战争渐次白热化……
