圆子（高濑春奈饰）是一名平凡的家庭主妇，深陷在无穷无尽的家务事中，圆子感到疲惫又窒息，她唯一寻求刺激的方式，就是在商店行窃，唯有此时，她才能感到自己实实在在的活着。一次偶然之中，圆子的偷窃行为被一位名叫光子（樋口可南子饰）的女子瞧见，担心事情败露的圆子追随到了光子家，以金钱贿赂对方，希望光子能够替自己保守秘密。随着时间的推移，圆子和光子之间竟然产生了暧昧的感情，圆子的丈夫孝太郎（原田芳雄饰）发现了妻子的异样，并最终得知了光子的存在。孝太郎怎么也想不到，自己的情敌竟然是女人，然而光子实在太过美丽，孝太郎在不知不觉之中亦被其吸引。

They learn Roxbury knew about the fate of Burton White, an explorer whose diary they find, thus presume to be dead, in search of diamonds, and confirmation of the local tribe being the lethal guardians of the plateau's secrets, but also get surprising help...

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
